⚠️ Animated emote tip: Animated emotes must stay under 60KB — that is Twitch’s hard file-size limit for GIF/APNG slots. Static emotes follow the standard 1MB cap.
🆕 Event Badge tip: Twitch’s Creator Badge Drops (announced May 19, 2026) require a static PNG, square, under 25KB — stricter than both the 1MB static-emote cap and the 60KB animated-emote limit. Use the Event Badge mode above to check your file before uploading.
