Animated Emotes

Animated Twitch emotes are looping GIF or APNG files that add motion to your subscriber emotes — waving, bouncing, sparkling, or dancing characters that stand out in fast-moving chat far more than static images.

Every animated emote pack in this category is pre-exported at all required Twitch sizes and tested against the platform’s strict file size limits (animated emotes must stay under 60 KB per frame set — the single hardest technical constraint for animated assets).

What’s Included

Looping GIF/APNG files at 28×28, 56×56, and 112×112 px
Each file pre-optimized to stay within Twitch’s 60 KB animated emote limit
Static PNG fallback versions included for platforms that don’t support animation
Compatible with Twitch, Discord (with Nitro), and Kick

Static vs. Animated — Which Should You Pick?
Static emotes are easier to read at 28 px in fast chat. Animated emotes grab more attention but require careful optimization to meet file size limits. Many streamers run a mix of both — key reaction emotes animated, utility emotes static.
